Strolling through the canals of Treviso, you cannot miss the specialties and typical products of the Marca Trevigiana, such as the white asparagus of Cimadolmo and the world-famous prosecco wine.

Treviso dishes to savor:

  1. Risotto with bruscandoli: a tasty first course made with bruscandoli, the sprouts of the wild hop in which the area is rich;
  2. Salsa Peverada: of very ancient origin, is a typical Veneto condiment composed of chicken livers, soppressa, anchovies, garlic, onion, parsley and lemon juice;
  3. Asparagus alla Bassanese: a very spring dish prepared with white asparagus and eggs;
  4. Sopa Coada: is a pie made with bread, broth and pigeon meat;
  5. Pasta e fasoi: pasta and beans, typical in many Italian regions, is an institution on the tables of the Veneto people;
  6. Moscardini and seppie: are stewed and usually served on a bed of polenta;
  7. Tiramisu: a very famous traditional dessert made of ladyfingers soaked in coffee and a mascarpone and egg yolk cream.
